How do I add my domain to my Microsoft product subscription and configure its DNS records (Domain Connect)?

When you purchased and activated your Microsoft product subscription, you received the administrator login credentials of your tenant via email. Please follow the steps indicated below to add your domain to your Microsoft product subscription and configure the necessary DNS records using Domain Connect.

Domain Connect is a protocol that allows the automated configuration of DNS records.

A) If your domain uses our name servers:

Please ensure that the Domain Connect option is activated in the DNS zone of the domain:
  1. In your account go to DOMAIN NAMES > ACTIVE.
  2. Move the cursor over the concerned domain and click on Manage on the right.
  3. Click on MANAGE ZONE.
  4. Check the status of Domain Connect and activate it if it is off.
Log in on to the administrator account of your Microsoft tenant: https://admin.microsoft.com/ and follow the steps indicated below to add the domain and automatically configure the DNS records:
  1. In your Microsoft admin center, go to Setup > Domains and click on "Add domain".
  2. Enter your domain and click on "Next".
  3. Check the option: "Sign in to EuroDNS (recommended)" and click on "Next". The validation TXT record will be added in this step.
  4. Check the option: "Add the DNS records for me" and click on "Next". The DNS records corresponding to the Microsoft services will be added in this step.
  5. Choose the online services you would like to activate (you need to at least select "Exchange") and click on "Next".
  6. Wait till the DNS records configuration is completed and click on "Next".
  7. When you see the confirmation that the DNS records have been added, please click on "Finish".

B) If your domain uses name servers of a different provider:

Log in on to the administrator account of your Microsoft tenant: https://admin.microsoft.com/ and follow the steps indicated below to retrieve the DNS records:
  1. In your Microsoft admin center, go to Setup > Domains and click on "Add domain".
  2. Enter your domain and click on "Next".
  3. Check the option: "Add TXT record" and click on "Next".
  4. Copy the TXT record values and configure it in the DNS zone of your domain on the corresponding name servers. Wait some minutes and click on "Verify".
  5. Once the domain is verified, select the option: "I'll add the DNS records myself" and click on "Next".
  6. You will see a page with all the DNS records that you need to add. Note and configure them it in the DNS zone of your domain on the corresponding name servers.
  7. When the DNS records are configure and detected by Microsoft, click on Finish.
