How do I create & manage my EuroDNS account?

Creating and managing accounts, folders and shared access, and even exporting domains won’t hold any secrets for you after reading this article.

How do I create my account?

Thank you for choosing to work with us, please use the following steps to create your EuroDNS account:

  1. ​Go to the Account Creation Page
  2. Fill in the form with your contact details
  3. Enter the secure number (we like robots a lot, but we won’t let them have an account)
  4. Click on Create Account 
  5. Last thing: welcome to the EuroDNS community, enjoy​

Changing account information

  1. Log into your EuroDNS account
  2. Enter your Control Panel,  then select  Account Details
  3. Enter your new account details (address, company, email, VAT number, etc.)
  4. Click Save Changes at the foot of the page
Notes
  • Please make sure that the email address mentioned in your account is always up to date in order to receive renewal reminders.

How do I update or add a new credit card to my account?

If you would like to add a new credit card to your account, we ask that you first make a purchase  with the card in question, once the transaction is complete, the card will appear in your stored credit cards. A quicker method is to buy credit for your account with your new credit card. Please be aware you will need to add a minimum of 10 euros to your account. The credit added to your account can be used for future orders or you can ask for a refund to your credit card.

To credit your account using your credit card, please follow the steps below:

  1. Log into your EuroDNS account
  2. Enter your Control Panel, then select Account Credit
  3. Select the amount you would like to add to your account or choose a specific amount in euros (10 euros minimum)
  4. Click Pay for Credits
  5. Choose credit card as your payment method
  6. Accept the T&Cs then click Submit

​If you would like to request a refund, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Log into your EuroDNS account
  2. Under the Control Panel dropdown menu, select Refund Request
  3. Click the Request a Refund button and select your option, Partial or Complete Refund, then click Select Refund Method
  4. Enter the refund amount and click Confirm Refund Request​

​​How do I recover my login details?

In order to recover your login details, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Go to the EuroDNS website and click on Sign In, top right corner of the page
  2. Click on Forgot your password?
  3. Select what information you want to enter to recover your password; you can choose between your login, your email address, or your domain name
  4. Enter the secure number (we like robots a lot, but we won’t let them have an account)
  5. Click on Submit

Now keep an eye on your mailbox, an email including a link will be sent to you shortly. In order to receive your new login and password, you will need to click on the link in the email.

What's shared access?

Shared access is a way to allow more than one person to access your EuroDNS account, with shared access it is also possible to create different levels of account access so different users can have different rights and privileges. This feature is useful if you want to give a 3rd party access to your account, while retaining overall control.

The different levels of account access are summarized below:

Viewer profile -  users can only see the domains’ details overview, but cannot perform any action.

Config profile - user has more rights than the Viewer user, and can edit DNS zones, but cannot access the billing area.

Buyer profile - user has similar access to the Manager profile, but domain folder creation is not available.

Manager profile - user has the highest level of access, and there are no restrictions.

This feature is very convenient to give access to a third party while keeping your privacy and full control.

How can I create and manage shared access?

You will need a domain folder before you are able to allow shared access. To create a folder:

  1. Log into your EuroDNS account
  2. Under the Control Panel dropdown menu, select Domain Folders
  3. Move the cursor over the parent folder on the left, labelled Root, then click on the plus icon
  4. Enter the name of the new folder in the new box and Enter
  5. The new folder has been successfully added

Now you are ready to give shared access:

  1. Log into your EuroDNS account
  2. Under the Control Panel dropdown menu, select Manage Shared Access
  3. Make sure the Shared Access tab is selected
  4. Click on Add a Shared Access
  5. Fill in the requested information and Save

Edit shared access:

  1. Log into your EuroDNS account
  2. Under the Control Panel dropdown menu, select Manage Shared Access
  3. Select the tab Manage Groups
  4. Click on the Edit icon of the group you would like to edit
  5. Fill in the new information and Save

Create a shared access group:

  1. Log into your EuroDNS account
  2. Under the Control Panel dropdown menu, select Manage Shared Access
  3. Select the tab Manage Groups
  4. Click on Add a Group
  5. Fill in the required information and Save

How do I log in with shared access?

To log on with a shared access, please follow the procedure below:

  1. Open the Login page
  2. Click on Shared Access Login, select Sign in
  3. Type your username and password and click on Sign in

How do I create or modify a domain folder?

Domain folders are meant to store and organize your domain portfolio. This feature becomes essential when you own a large portfolio in order to organize your domains by extension, companies, etc. The shared access feature allows you to design folders that can been seen or hidden to a third party.

Create a folder:

  1. Log into your EuroDNS account
  2. Under the Control Panel dropdown menu, select Domain Folders
  3. Move the cursor over the parent folder on the left, labelled Root, then click on the plus icon
  4. Enter the name of the new folder in the new box and Enter
  5. The new folder has been successfully added

Edit a folder:

  1. Log into your EuroDNS account
  2. Under the Control Panel dropdown menu, select Manage Domain Folders
  3. Move the cursor over the folder you want to edit, then click on the pencil icon on the left
  4. Enter the new name of the folder in the new box and Enter
  5. The folder has been successfully edited

How do I move domains to a specific domain folder?

  1. Log into your EuroDNS account
  2. Under the Control Panel dropdown menu, select Manage Domain Folders
  3. Select the domain name to move, then drag & drop it to the desired folder
  4. Finally, confirm that your domain appears in the correct folder

How can I export my domain names?

Our export feature allows you to collect and gather information about your domain(s) into one single document. You can easily select what information related to your domain(s) you want to see on the document (creation date, renewal date, contact information, name server information etc) and export it into a CSV, an Excel file or a format Plain Text file.

  1. Log into your EuroDNS account
  2. Enter your Control Panel, then select Registered Domains
  3. Select the domain(s) you would like to export by ticking the box to the left of the domain name
  4. Scroll down and under the Action tab, select Export Domains
  5. Under the Scope tab, select Selected Domains
  6. Click on the Run Bulk Operation button located under the Result tab
  7. Select the Report Content and choose your Export Options
  8. Finally click on Export, the export will be added to the queue and you will receive email notification when it’s complete.
  9. To find and download your export documents, select the Control Panel at the top and click on Export 

Where can I view and complete pending actions?

Sometimes, in order to complete a process we will ask you to perform client actions, such as signing a contract. In order to access the pending actions section, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Log into your EuroDNS account
  2. Enter your Control Panel, then select Pending Actions
  3. The first tab will list all the client actions, the EuroDNS actions will be listed on the second tab
  4. Some actions may require your intervention, make sure the Client Actions tab is selected to see if you need to complete missing information
  5. Click on Client to the right of the date of the corresponding action; fill out and save the missing information.
  6. Once your actions have been completed, the process will continue automatically
