How do I add domain privacy (WHOIS) to my registered domain name?

Last Updated: May 10, 2016 03:01PM CEST

We offer domain privacy (WHOIS privacy) for gTLDs, .COM, .NET, etc., but not for ccTLDs such as .DE, .FR, .CO.UK, .ES). You can check the domain privacy eligibility status on the corresponding TLD page (search your domain extension in the search box, for example ".COM").

There are two paths to add domain privacy to your registered domains. Also, you can activate it for one or several domains:

For several domains:

Option A - Log in to your EuroDNS account, go to PRODUCTS > DOMAIN PRIVACY. Click on GO TO YOUR DOMAINS. This redirects to the list of your registered domains.

Option B - Log in to your EuroDNS account and go to DOMAIN NAMES > ACTIVE.
  1. Select the domains concerned.
  2. At the foot of the page in the Action menu, select the option Enable Domain Privacy.
  3. In the Scope menu, select the option Selected Domains.
  4. In the Result menu, click on RUN BULK OPERATION.
  5. Choose your invoice profile and the payment method.
  6. Accept our terms and conditions and click on PLACE ORDER.

For a single domain:

Option A - Log in to your EuroDNS account, go to PRODUCTS > DOMAIN PRIVACY. Click on GO TO YOUR DOMAINS. This redirects to the list of your registered domains.

Option B - Log in to your EuroDNS account and go to DOMAIN NAMES > ACTIVE.

  1. Move the cursor over the concerned domain and click on Manage.
  2. Under the Domain contacts, click on ENABLE DOMAIN PRIVACY.
  3. Choose your invoice profile and the payment method
Accept our terms and conditions and click on PLACE ORDER.
